LUKAS Bank is a retail bank that focuses on building long-term relationships with customers, professional consultancy and friendly customer service. The Bank provides its products and services through all access channels: e-banking (LUKAS e-Bank), telephone (LUKASlinia) and the network of over 440 bank branches.

LUKAS Bank has a comprehensive offering of banking products for individual customers and small and medium businesses. The offering includes, among others, personal account packages, savings products, credit cards, investment funds and mortgage loans. The Bank also offers co-branded credit cards in cooperation with retail store chains.

LUKAS Bank is one of the leaders on the consumer loans market. The Bank grants cash and car loans. The Bank’s installment loans are available in 16 thousand points of sales. The Bank is strongly committed to responsible financing.

At the end of 2009 LUKAS Bank employed over 6 000 persons.

Financial results

In 2009 the consolidated result on banking activity amounted to over PLN 1.5 bn and the consolidated net profit to over PLN 60 million. The solvency ratio of LUKAS Bank, which is one of the stability indicators, reached the level of 12.5 % at the end of 2009.

Strategy

The strategy for 2010-2013 assumes positioning LUKAS Bank among top universal banks in Poland and, at the same time, maintaining the leading position in consumer finance. The Bank plans to achieve these objectives by gradually increasing the number of active customers and building long-term customer relationships. The relationships with customers will be based on professional consultancy, offers tailored to individual needs and friendly customer service.

Since 2001 the French financial group Crédit Agricole, which operates in 70 countries, is the main shareholder of LUKAS Bank. The Group provides LUKAS Bank with know-how and financial support in achieving the strategic goals. Apart from LUKAS Bank, the Crédit Agricole Group in Poland also comprises Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as well as Crédit Agricole Ubezpieczenia na Życie.
